Cities: Skylines - Campus Radio
Pure audio cosmetic with zero gameplay hooks: 16 tracks of College Rock, Teen Pop, Happy Punk, and Power Chord covering a late-90s/early-2000s campus vibe - buy it only if that era's sound matches your build sessions.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth picking up on sale if the late-90s college rock aesthetic matches your playstyle - skip it if you want mechanics, not music.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About Cities: Skylines - Campus Radio
I've worked through enough Cities: Skylines sessions to know that the in-game radio is actually a productivity variable. The right station keeps you zoned in through a three-hour traffic-node redesign; the wrong one has you alt-tabbing to Spotify inside twenty minutes. Campus Radio is a straight audio-only DLC - no new buildings, no zoning tools, no policy levers - so the entire purchase decision collapses to one question: do you want a simulated college radio station pumping late-90s and early-2000s alt-rock adjacent sounds while you lay down transit lines? The package is hosted by DJ Claude Couture and delivers 16 original tracks spread across four genre tags: College Rock, Teen Pop, Happy Punk, and Power Chord. The artists - Helium, Check For Pulse, Glendale Social Club, Los Chick, River Twins, Space Specials, and The Wilsons - are all produced-for-the-game acts rather than licensed catalog material. That matters because the writing leans satirical and self-aware; several tracks include lyrics that wink at the campus-life premise rather than playing it straight. Running time sits at roughly 54 minutes, which means one full loop per long build session before repetition kicks in. Community reception splits cleanly along generational lines. Players who were actually on a campus around 1999-2003 tend to find the nostalgic angle genuinely effective, with the slower instrumental tracks praised for maintaining focus without demanding attention. The detractors - and there are some - land on two complaints: a handful of tracks lean heavily instrumental in a way that reads as unfinished to certain ears, and the in-station ads, while amusing for the first few plays, wear out their welcome faster than the songs themselves. Neither complaint is a dealbreaker given the scope of what this DLC is, but they are real. From a strategy-sim perspective, the honest framing is this: Campus Radio is a comfort-layer purchase, not a depth purchase. It adds nothing to city management, AI behavior, or mod compatibility. It exists entirely to dress the atmosphere of a session. If you already own the Campus expansion and want the audio component to match the visual theme of your university district, this is a coherent pairing. If you are trying to decide between this and a substantive expansion that adds mechanics, there is no spreadsheet version of this decision where Campus Radio wins. Pick it up when it is on sale and you have already covered the mechanical DLC catalog.
