Cities: Skylines - Alpine Tunes Radio
Sixteen tracks of ambient alpine music for your city-building sessions - a narrow add-on that answers one specific question: do you want a mountain-themed radio station while you zone industrial districts?
GamerScout Verdict
Skip unless you're a committed Cities: Skylines veteran who already owns the mechanical DLC and wants mountain ambience for long building sessions.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About Cities: Skylines - Alpine Tunes Radio
I'll be straight with you: this is not a game, not an expansion, and not something that changes a single zoning decision or traffic routing problem. Alpine Tunes Radio is a music DLC for Cities: Skylines - one additional in-game radio station delivering 16 tracks and roughly an hour of acoustic, alpine-flavored background music. If you came here expecting new buildings, new map tiles, or any mechanical hook, close this tab and look at the Mountain Village content creator pack instead. The base game it plugs into is worth contextualizing, because that context is the only reason you'd care about yet another radio station. Cities: Skylines earned its 85 Metacritic score and a mountain of goodwill by doing what SimCity stopped doing: handing you real traffic simulation, a proper district-and-policy system, deep budget management, and a mod ecosystem through Steam Workshop that adds new buildings, maps, and gameplay mechanics at a pace Colossal Order themselves can't match. A city-builder that runs on hundreds of hours of decisions - road hierarchy, public transport lines, tax policy per district, pollution zoning - and the ambient soundtrack is genuinely part of that long-session comfort. When you're four hours into untangling a spaghetti interchange, music matters. What Alpine Tunes specifically delivers is an acoustic, pastoral tone that pairs better with low-density, green-city, or mountain-map playthroughs than the game's default electronic and pop-leaning stations. If you're building a ski-resort town using alpine terrain maps, or you've grabbed the Mountain Village content creator pack (sold alongside this in the Mountain Bundle), the tonal match is real. There's no gameplay integration beyond the in-game radio UI - you switch to it the same way you switch to any other station - and the roughly one hour of content will loop during any long session. That loop becomes obvious around hour two of a planning session, which is the honest limitation here. For newcomers trying to figure out where to start with Cities: Skylines' sprawling DLC catalog, this should be near the bottom of the priority list. Start with After Dark for the day-night cycle mechanics, Mass Transit for the public transport toolset, or Green Cities if your design philosophy runs toward low-pollution planning. The radio packs - this one included - are comfort additions, not capability additions. Veterans who have already worked through the meaningful expansions and want the specific sound of mountain ambience during their builds will find exactly what they're paying for. Everyone else is better served spending that budget on something that changes what their city can do.
