GamerScout Verdict
A rough-edged curiosity for FPS archaeologists who don't mind technical jank in exchange for quirky atmosphere.

About Chernobyl: Terrorist Attack
I went in expecting janky asset-flip territory, and Chernobyl: Terrorist Attack is rough around the edges, but it's not cynical. It's a linear FPS with a straightforward premise: armed conflict in a post-disaster zone. Gunplay is serviceable if stiff, environments are grey and repetitive, and the campaign won't take more than a couple hours. There's no multiplayer or features to speak of. The whole thing feels like a passion project from developers working outside the AAA budget cycle, not polished, but not trying to con you either. If you're hunting for forgotten FPS oddities or want a no-nonsense shooter that doesn't demand your respect, this scratches that itch. Just don't expect technical wizardry or memorable set pieces. It's a time capsule of low-budget PC action circa 2017.
