Cats Tanks

I went in expecting cute fluff and found myself in a genuinely enjoyable arcade shooter. Cats Tanks strips away the simulation bloat and gives you a tank that handles like it's got a personality. The action is fast, the hitboxes feel fair, and there's a weird appeal to the absurdist premise that keeps you playing just one more round. No pretense, no grinding walls, just pick up and shoot. It's rough around the edges. The presentation is intentionally lo-fi, the variety is limited, and there's not much meat on the bones beyond the core loop. If you need production values and 50-hour campaigns, this isn't your game. But if you want a quick, satisfying arcade experience that doesn't take itself seriously, Cats Tanks delivers exactly that. It's the kind of game that reminds you indie projects don't need to be massive to be worth your time.
