Castle Morihisa
A roguelike deckbuilder where you hunt for synergies across runs, wielding fallen heroes to crack an increasingly difficult castle. Thin on story, thick on deck-crafting choices.
GamerScout Verdict
Scratches the deckbuilder itch for a few sittings, but lacks the depth or narrative hooks to hold your attention long-term.

About Castle Morihisa
I've played enough roguelike deckbuilders to spot the formula: build your cards through combat, pivot your strategy when RNG serves you lemons, and pray the final boss run clicks. Castle Morihisa follows that script closely. You draft cards between encounters, unlock talent upgrades, and summon fallen heroes as your power engines. The core loop is solid-the deckbuilding reward cycle hits, and synergies do feel rewarding when they land. The catch is scope. This is a lean indie title without the polish or content depth of Slay the Spire or Monster Train. Tutorial explanation is sparse, runs are short (which helps pacing but limits experimentation), and the narrative wrapper barely registers. The art is functional, not captivating. If you want a brisk roguelike deckbuilder you can finish in a sitting and not think about again, Morihisa scratches that itch. If you're hunting for a game to sink 100 hours into building exotic decks, look elsewhere.
