GamerScout Verdict
Solid VR arcade shooter with punchy controls, but thin on content and campaign depth.

About Bulletstorm VR
I went in expecting Bulletstorm's signature over-the-top chaos to translate well to VR controls. The core loop works: shoot, kick, use the leash to yank enemies around, watch them ragdoll. Motion controls make the kicking feel visceral and the weapon variety keeps combat from getting stale across a few hours. But the game's thin on content and runs short before the mechanics get truly interesting. Level design feels corridor-based and safe, and the humor that made the original so memorable gets lost when you're focused on aiming in three dimensions. If you own a VR headset and want a straightforward action romp without pretensions, there's fun to be had here. Just know you're paying for an arcade experience, not a full campaign. It's solid for an afternoon, not a weekend.
