Breathedge 2

The store page promises duct tape, an immortal chicken, and a galaxy off the rails, and on the comedy front Breathedge 2 delivers exactly what it advertises. Ordinary Man is still a wonderfully stupid protagonist, the writing still undercuts every solemn sci-fi beat it sets up, and the loop of drifting through debris, scavenging scrap, and upgrading tools has real pull in the first stretch. Where reality drifts from the pitch is the RPG and simulation framing. This is a survival-crafter with jokes attached, not a game with meaningful character arcs or build variety, and if you come to it hoping choices reshape anything, they don't. It is also Early Access, and it shows in the usual places: resource pacing that turns into busywork, quest objectives that read as filler once the punchlines run thin, and rough edges the 93 percent Very Positive score is clearly grading on a curve of goodwill. Controller support and cloud saves are in, which helps. If you loved the first game's humor and can tolerate an unfinished middle stretch, you'll have a good time. If you want depth past hour fifteen, wait for 1.0.
