Boxville

Machinarium is the obvious comparison, and Boxville earns it: no dialogue, no text, just a small wandering figure solving scene-sized contraptions in a world built from junk. The difference that matters is scale and warmth. Where Amanita builds intricate, sometimes cruel logic chains, Triomatica Games keeps its puzzles readable, nudging you toward levers, valves and crank handles rather than hiding solutions behind pixel-hunting. The cast are speechless cans, and they communicate in chalky doodles scrawled on cardboard, which is the whole soul of the thing. It is hand-drawn in a cardboard-and-marker style that feels genuinely made by people, and the soundtrack hums along underneath like a quiet workshop radio. The catch: it is short, and the puzzles rarely resist you. If you measure adventures by hours or by how hard they push back, this will feel slight. I would rather praise it for knowing exactly when to stop. Controller support is full, achievements are there, and nothing overstays. Made in Ukraine, and it wears that quiet craft on its sleeve.
