Bow & Crystal Tower Defense

I've seen plenty of tower defense games bloat themselves with progression systems and cosmetics. Bow & Crystal Tower Defense doesn't bother. You're placing archer towers, managing mana, and fending off waves of skeletons with mechanical clarity that older indie strategy games nailed. The core loop is straightforward: anticipate enemy paths, position defenses, upgrade between rounds. No tutorial bloat, no battle pass. What you get depends entirely on how well you read the board state and optimize your spending. The catch is scope. With minimal depth systems and a small campaign, this works as a palate-cleanser rather than a 40-hour investment. If you want pure tower defense mechanics without modern game design overhead, the sub-5 price point makes it a reasonable punt. Don't expect new mechanics or surprising difficulty curves. What you see is what you get.
