Bounty Star

Bounty Star does something I haven't seen much: it treats mech piloting as just one part of a larger sandbox. You're Clem, a burned-out ex-soldier who fights in customizable mechs, but you also tend crops, upgrade your base, and manage resources between missions. The combat feels satisfying if you vibe with over-the-shoulder action, and the mech loadout system gives real choice in how you approach each fight. Where it stumbles is obvious. The farming and base-building stuff feels bolted on rather than woven into the loop, and the whole package has that indie rough-edge quality where systems aren't always as polished as they should be. If you're tired of games that commit fully to one genre and want something that swings at multiple sports at once, this is worth a look.
