About Boss Hunter
I went in expecting a bite-sized boss-rush game, and that's pretty much what Boss Hunter delivers. You fight a gauntlet of enemies with escalating difficulty and telegraphed attack patterns. The core loop is straightforward: learn the tells, dodge, hit the openings. No grinding for gear, no skill trees, no story fluff to wade through, just you, a handful of weapons, and bosses that hit hard if you slip up. The trade-off is obvious: there's not much meat on the bones. A few hours and you've seen most of what it has to offer. The action feels solid enough for what it is, but without progression systems or meaningful variety between encounters, it wears thin fast. If you want a lean, skill-focused fighter you can finish in a weekend, this scratches that itch. Anyone looking for depth or a reason to keep coming back will bounce off quickly.
