Bor
A tiny old-school platformer with 4 worlds, hidden levels and a joke premise about rescuing 60 wives. Charming for an hour, thin after that.
GamerScout Verdict
A rough but honest afternoon platformer for retro-jump fans who don't mind stiff controls and no replay value.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Bor
The first hour of Bor is where you decide whether you're in or out, because the controls are stiffer than they look. Your Viking has a floaty jump arc and a landing that doesn't grip the way modern platformers have trained you to expect, and the early levels punish that with pits placed for pixel-precise timing rather than flow. Push through maybe twenty minutes of that and it clicks. It's not a good control scheme, it's a consistent one, and consistency is most of what an old-school platformer needs. What you get after that is a small, colorful four-world run with secret levels tucked behind walls and ledges you have to guess at, and a rescue-60-wives gag that's the whole story and knows it. It's built for people who want a short, cheap, slightly janky throwback to knock out in an afternoon, not for anyone expecting Celeste-grade level design or much replay pull once the secrets are found. Single-player only, and controller support is partial enough that you may end up back on keyboard. Worth a look if the aesthetic grabs you. Skip it if stiff jumps are a dealbreaker.
