About Bonegard
I've seen indie action games with ambition outpace their execution before, but Bonegard wears that imbalance on its sleeve. It's got the bones of something fun, combat encounters that want you to think tactically, and an adventure structure that promises exploration, but the systems feel half-baked. Collision detection glitches, clunky pacing, and camera angles that fight you more than help make progress frustrating rather than rewarding. The visual style has character, and there are glimpses of clever design buried in the mess, but you'll wade through a lot of jank to find them. Bonegard is a game for people who enjoy early-access energy and don't mind patching broken mechanics themselves. If you're looking for a polished action-adventure, this isn't it. If you're curious about weird indie experiments and have patience for rough edges, it might scratch that itch.
