Blue Wednesday
Four hours, one evening, headphones on. A jazz-soaked coming-of-age sim that asks for patience instead of reflexes, and mostly earns it.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for players who want one quiet evening with a good soundtrack, not a rhythm game to actually get good at.
Compare Prices(5 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Blue Wednesday
What this asks for up front is an evening and your full attention, no build orders, no menus to optimize, no systems to master. Blue Wednesday hands you point-and-click scenes, a rhythm mini-game built around bass lines, and a music collection you slowly fill out, then trusts you to sit still while a story about a young jazz musician and his father works itself out. The rhythm sections are forgiving by design (controller support is solid, DualSense included), and the whole thing runs roughly four hours. For someone who normally measures value in hours-per-currency, that math looks bad on paper. It isn't, because the pacing is the point. Where it disappoints is decision-making. Choices exist but rarely branch in ways you feel, and the mini-games are texture rather than challenge, so if you want systems to chew on, look elsewhere. The 85 percent positive rating across 219 reviews reads correctly to me: people who wanted a quiet, well-scored story got exactly that, and people expecting a real rhythm game did not. Go in knowing which one you are.
