For point-and-click purists willing to tolerate obscurity and obtuse design for atmosphere.

About Black Rainbow
Black Rainbow is a low-budget point-and-click adventure from 2014 that exists in the cracks of indie game history. The setup is minimal: you're exploring environments with minimal guidance, clicking on objects and NPCs to uncover a story that's intentionally cryptic. The game commits hard to its strange aesthetic and doesn't hold your hand, which will appeal to players who enjoyed the opacity of early LucasArts games or who don't mind pixel-hunting and trial-and-error puzzle solving. The catch is that this is genuinely niche territory. No Steam release, no press coverage, no community wiki to bail you out when you're stuck. If you value atmosphere and don't need polished graphics or intuitive UI, you might find something worth your time. Everyone else should know upfront this is a museum piece from a specific era of indie adventure games, not a rediscovered gem.
