GamerScout Verdict
Brief, harmless wave-slasher for bargain-bin hunters. Don't expect the mystery to stick the landing.

About Bean Story
I went in expecting nothing from Bean Story, and that's roughly what I got. This is a stripped-down wave-survivor where you stand your ground with a sword, waves of enemies spawn, you kill them, and story beats unlock between rounds. The setup has promise, amnesia, a disappearance to solve, but the narrative stays skeletal, more flavor text than payoff. Enemies are predictable, the sword feels functional, and the whole thing wraps in a couple of hours. There's nothing broken here, just lightweight. If you want a brainless survival-slice session for under five bucks and don't mind a story that doesn't quite go anywhere, Bean Story won't waste your time. Everyone else should look elsewhere.
