Bargain Invaders

Bargain Invaders is a no-frills arcade shooter that knows exactly what it is. You're in space, enemies are coming, and you need to stay alive long enough to rack up points and unlock achievements. It's the kind of game you boot up for 15 minutes between other things, not a campaign you commit to over weeks. The mechanics are straightforward: move, shoot, dodge, repeat. There's no story, no progression system beyond achievements, no meta-game hanging over your head. For the price, it delivers on that promise cleanly. If you're looking for deep gameplay loops or visual polish, this isn't it. Bargain Invaders is honest work from a solo developer who wanted to make a functional arcade game and did exactly that. It'll appeal to people who miss the simplicity of early 80s arcade cabinets or who want a quick, no-commitment distraction. Just don't expect it to surprise you.
