Avoid It!

Avoid It! inverts the typical action game formula: instead of blasting through levels, you're threading between moving hazards, oncoming vehicles, and environmental traps. It's more puzzle-reflex hybrid than traditional action-arcade, demanding pattern recognition as much as quick reactions. The premise sounds gimmicky but plays into something genuinely different, you learn enemy patterns, memorize safe zones, and time your moves with surgical precision. It's casual in scope but demanding in execution. The game's biggest strength is how it commits to the concept without padding. It doesn't overstay its welcome, and the core loop of "survive this gauntlet" stays fresh across its runtime. Atomic Fabrik clearly built this as a lean, focused experience rather than a 40-hour slog. If you're burned out on traditional action games and want something that makes you think sideways, this scratches that itch.
