About Au Revoir
I went in expecting another walking simulator, but Au Revoir surprised me. You're Tristan, hunting down fragmented human consciousnesses across a retro-futuristic city rendered in blocky, 90s-inspired geometry. The puzzles are thoughtful without being brain-melting, and the neon-soaked environments actually reward poking around. What works: the atmosphere is genuinely unsettling in the right way, and the branching choices feel like they matter rather than cosmetic forks. What doesn't: the game is lean, almost minimal, so if you're after sprawling exploration or complex mechanics, you'll finish fast and want more. It's intimate sci-fi noir in short form, perfect for an afternoon or two.
