Assault Suit Leynos is a 1990 arcade-style shooter rebuilt from the ground up with modern visuals. You pilot a heavily armed mech across alien-infested levels, spraying fire left and right while dodging incoming waves of enemies. It's pure arcade DNA: no cover systems, no regenerating health, just you, your weapons, and the clock ticking toward the next checkpoint. The HD remake smooths out the pixels but keeps the brutal difficulty curve intact. If you're hunting retro action that doesn't apologize for being hard, this lands the landing. That said, it's a narrow slice of gaming. The level design is linear, enemy variety is modest, and there's no real story to latch onto.
