Worth the Gold tier only if you'll play past the credits; otherwise the standard edition delivers the same rope launcher.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Assassin's Creed: Syndicate (Gold Edition)
The rope launcher is the whole pitch, and it rewires how you play. Point it at a rooftop in Victorian London and you skip the climb entirely, which turns this from a clambering game into a traversal toy with a stealth sandbox bolted underneath. Jacob and Evie Frye split the difference between brawling and quiet work, and the gang-war structure keeps giving you districts to pry loose. Melee is brutish and a little mushy, but the city carries it. The Gold Edition folds the post-launch add-ons in on top of the base campaign: extra story content plus a stack of cosmetic gear and weapon packs. The story material is the only part that changes how you spend an evening, since it drops fresh objectives into reworked corners of the map. The outfit and weapon bundles are shelf-filler you will equip once and forget. If you just want the main campaign, the standard edition loses nothing that matters, and both versions carry the same optional in-game purchases you can ignore outright. Gold earns its keep only for players who know they will finish the base story and want somewhere to go next.
