About Assassin's Creed: Mirage Master Assassin Edition
The store page sells this as the definitive way to play Ubisoft's back-to-basics Assassin's Creed, and on the content side that is fair: you get the base game plus the Master Assassin bonus quest and a set of cosmetic packs for Basim, his sword, and his mount. What it does not tell you is that the extras are garnish. The real pitch is Mirage itself, a compact Baghdad-set stealth game that strips out the sprawling RPG scaffolding of Valhalla and Odyssey and puts social blending, rooftop routes, tool loadouts, and one-hit assassinations back at the center. When it works, it works beautifully. Baghdad is dense and vertical in a way the recent open worlds never were, and the investigation-board structure keeps missions pointed instead of padded. Where it disappoints: combat is stiff and clearly deprioritized, the story wraps up faster than the buildup deserves, and the cosmetics do nothing mechanically. Go in wanting a focused 20-hour stealth game, not an epic.
