About Artemishea (Early Access)
I went in expecting a straightforward colony sim and instead found something closer to a real-time tactics game with base-building overhead. You're managing resources, placing structures, and defending against attacks simultaneously. The action-strategy blend works in moments, especially when you're scrambling to fortify before a wave hits, but the UI feels cramped and the tutorial doesn't prep you for how much you're juggling at once. The core loop has potential: gather materials, expand your settlement, research tech, survive threats. Trouble is, the early access build feels unfinished. Pathfinding is wonky, menus are clunky, and there's no clear difficulty curve to ease you in. If you're the type who enjoys tinkering with rough prototypes and have patience for feature gaps, Artemishea might scratch that colony-defense itch. Everyone else should wait for a more polished version.
