About Armored Brigade II: Scandinavia
The store page promises the Northern Flank, over 500 new units, two campaigns and three standalone scenarios, and it delivers exactly that inventory. What it does not promise, and what actually defines the experience, is how unforgiving the tempo is. Orders resolve in real time with pause, spotting is genuinely opaque, and a Swedish company that looks strong on the unit roster evaporates because you pushed it over a ridgeline without recon. That is the game working as intended, not a bug. The doctrine differences between Sweden, Norway and Denmark matter more than the unit count suggests, and Workshop support means the scenario pool will outlive the campaigns. The problem is onboarding. The tutorial explains the interface, not the thinking, so your first six hours are self-taught operational art. Single-player only, no multiplayer to fall back on. Worth it if you want a Cold War Scandinavia sim with real teeth. Not worth it if you want to be eased in.
