Arena Champion

I went in expecting a quick time-waster and got something lean and earnest instead. Arena Champion strips away story and progression systems to focus on pure fighting: you pick a character, step into an arena, and duke it out against waves of opponents with simple but responsive controls. The combat feels arcade-inspired rather than simulation-heavy, which means you're chasing flow state and high scores rather than frame-data spreadsheets. It's lo-fi by design, and that honesty is its strength. The rough edges are obvious: limited roster, basic animations, and zero online community to speak of. This isn't a game you buy to grind ranked ladders or unlock cosmetics. It's for people who want distraction-free fighting without the tournament pressure, or who just want to see if they can string together a ten-win streak on higher difficulty. Niche? Absolutely. But it does what it promises without apology.
