For indie roguelike fans who value scrappy charm over polish and don't mind learning through punishment.

About Alexei Run
I went in expecting another roguelike, and Alexei Run delivered exactly that - fast-paced, brutal, and weirdly compelling. You're running, dodging, and scrapping your way through randomly generated chaos with minimal narrative framing. The pixel art is crude but functional, and the survival mechanics force you to think about resource management between sprints. It's the kind of game that doesn't explain itself much, which works in its favor because there's not much to explain. The catch: this is rough around the edges. Hitbox feedback feels loose, progression loops repeat quickly, and there's no tutorial hand-holding. If you're hunting for a polished experience, move on. But if you're into scrappy indie roguelikes that demand pattern recognition and quick reflexes without pretense, Alexei Run scratches that itch for a few hours.
