The first hour of Planetfall throws sector mods, cover-based tactical combat and faction diplomacy at you all at once, and it is worth pushing through, because the systems click somewhere around turn thirty. Revelations is expansion content, not a standalone release, so you need Age of Wonders: Planetfall installed for any of it to load. The data I have does not spell out the exact contents, so check the store listing for the full breakdown instead of trusting a vague summary. Think of it as a top-up for people who already have a few hundred turns logged and want fresh strategic material. Anyone still bouncing off the base campaign can skip it.
