Age of Wonders III - Eternal Lords Expansion + Golden Realms Expansion Pack (DLC) Key
Both Age of Wonders III expansions in one shot: more races, a genuinely distinct Necromancer class, and enough new systems to make the base game feel like a different beast.
GamerScout Verdict
Essential for any Age of Wonders III owner; the Necromancer class and Race Governance alone justify the bundle for 4X fans.

About Age of Wonders III - Eternal Lords Expansion + Golden Realms Expansion Pack (DLC) Key
I've spent enough time with turn-based 4X games to know when an expansion is just padding and when it's actually rethinking what the base game can do. These two packs together land firmly in the second camp. Golden Realms lays the groundwork with the Halfling race, whose Luck mechanic lets units dodge incoming hits when morale is high, plus the Mystical City upgrade system that lets you unlock special buildings tied to treasure sites inside your city's domain. It's the kind of city-layer depth that the base game was quietly missing. Eternal Lords then pushes things further, adding the ice-themed Frostlings and the desert-cat Tigrans as fully realized factions with their own unit rosters, mechanics, and combat identities. Frostlings bring Yetis and cold-elemental units; Tigrans bring leaping, transforming fighters and a cultural tie to necromancy that makes them an ideal match for the expansion's headline addition. That headline addition is the Necromancer class, and it earns the attention. Where every other class in Age of Wonders III fits recognizable fantasy archetypes, the Necromancer plays by a different logic entirely. You can raze a city and resurrect it as an undead settlement using the Animate Ruins spell, producing Necromancer-exclusive units from what was formerly enemy territory. Heroes can be transformed into Archliches, buffing every unit under their command. Your ultimate summon, the Dread Reaper, has a touch attack that carries an instant-kill chance against anything on the battlefield. And if your leader holds a Phylactery at their throne, death itself is just a brief inconvenience. The class rewards players who enjoy reshaping the map rather than just conquering it. Eternal Lords also adds the Race Governance system, which lets you adjust traits for each race inside your empire independently, opening up new strategic configurations that weren't possible before. Cosmic Happenings events trigger as matches progress, introducing map-wide disruptions that can punish passive play or hand an opening to anyone paying attention. A new peaceful victory condition, new diplomatic options, and new specializations rounding out the alignment system mean that war is no longer the only language the game speaks. The campaign that ships with Eternal Lords has drawn some criticism for being a bit linear and uneven compared to the sandbox skirmish mode, and that's fair. If you're in it purely for the story, the pacing sags in places. But in skirmish and multiplayer, where the race-and-class combination matrix has now grown considerably, the added content pays off properly. Golden Realms is the lighter of the two packs and functions largely as a systems upgrade; Eternal Lords is where the real mass lives. Buying them together, as this bundle does, means you get the full picture without gaps. If you already own the base game and have any interest in 4X strategy with tactical hex-combat underneath it, this bundle fills in everything the vanilla release left on the table. The Necromancer alone is worth the price of admission for players who like asymmetric playstyles.
