About Age of Enigma: The Secret of the Sixth Ghost
I went in expecting a hidden gem. Age of Enigma is... not that. It's a point-and-click adventure where you investigate paranormal activity and track down possessed items, with a story that takes itself seriously despite production values that scream early-2010s freeware. The puzzles are straightforward, the exploration is linear, and the voice acting is rough enough to distract. But there's a weird charm to how committed it is to its spooky premise without irony. This lands squarely in the "for patient adventure fans only" category. If you're into old-school LucasArts-style clicking and don't mind production shortcuts, you'll get a few hours of ghostly poking around. Everyone else should skip it.
