About A-Gents
This one is for two people on the same couch with controllers in hand, and nobody else. Solo, A-Gents is a serviceable top-down twin-stick crawl: raid a compound, clear the room, scoop the loot, swap to your second agent when the first gets chewed up. Add a friend to the split screen and the same loop turns scrappy and loud, the kind of session where you argue over who grabbed the better gun. The warm Steam consensus makes sense. What thins out is variety. Rooms start to rhyme, the loot rarely changes how you play, and there is no arc pulling you forward once your thumbs learn the pattern. Short saves it. It ends before the repetition curdles, which is more discipline than most bigger shooters manage. Full controller support, painless local split-screen, Remote Play Together if your co-op partner lives three states away. Treat it as one good evening, not a campaign.
