The gameplay is simple by design. You listen for footsteps, the swish of a blade, the direction of your daughter's voice ahead. Combat is a timing-based affair where you parry and strike based on audio cues alone. It is not deep. There are no skill trees, no loot systems, no branching paths. What it offers instead is a proof-of-concept that becomes, in its best moments, genuinely tense. Hearing an enemy circle behind you and reacting in time feels earned in a way that few games manage, precisely because the feedback loop is so stripped down.
