My partner reversed our RC car off a workbench trying to line up a ramp jump, and instead of a fail state we found a crawlspace under the professor's lab bench with a hidden path in it. That's WheelMates in one moment. It's a two-player co-op driving adventure where the driving is deliberately clumsy, the toy cars are scaled to a giant house, and most of the progress comes from one of you holding a switch while the other threads a gap you both swore was too narrow. Set expectations properly. This is couch-and-Discord co-op, not a racer, and there is no solo mode worth speaking of. Firevolt's Friend's Pass means your second player joins free, which is the single best thing about it for anyone who runs a regular game night. The puzzle difficulty sits gentle, the lab environment is small, and if you and a friend are the type to argue about camera angles you will argue here. Gamepad is the way to play. Four drunk friends is the wrong crowd, but two people who like talking through a problem will have a good evening.
