GamerScout Verdict
Solid for roguelike fans hunting build variety, but the universe-hopping gimmick doesn't sustain a full campaign.

About Trinity Fusion
Trinity Fusion runs on a premise that could've been gimmicky: you're fighting across three fractured realities, and instead of just collecting loot, you're fusing your parallel selves to combine powers and reshape your abilities mid-run. The combat is snappy, the movement feels responsive, and there's real build variety hiding in how you stack synergies. It's roguelike pacing with some permanent progression meat on its bones, so you're not starting from zero each time. Where it falters is staying fresh. The three universes feel visually distinct but gameplay-wise they're samey enough that by run fifteen the novelty of "oh, I can fuse THIS with THAT" wears thin. The writing is minimal, the bosses hit harder than they should given enemy variety, and there's a grinding quality to unlocks that feels less rewarding and more obligatory. It's a solid 15-20 hour investment if roguelikes with weird mechanics click for you, but it's not the breakout indie hit the premise promises.
