Towards The Stars puts you in command of a mining ship with a dead world behind you and nothing but void ahead. You're harvesting asteroids, researching tech trees, and managing resources to push deeper into space. It's survival-sandbox territory: gather, build, upgrade, repeat. The multiplayer and PvP tags suggest some kind of local play option exists, though the game's tiny footprint means I'd verify that's actually implemented before buying expecting co-op. The core loop works fine if you like methodical resource management, but there's no getting around it: this is a one-dev passion project with limited scope. No narrative hooks, no voice acting, no flashy set pieces. If you're the type who finds zen in asteroid belt spreadsheets and incremental progress bars, you'll get your money's worth.
