Solo play is functional but noticeably designed around split-screen or online cooperation; the pacing sags when you're alone. Combat feels weighty and rewards actual positioning, though it won't scratch a souls-like itch. The story about hunting Agandaûr tracks a straightforward revenge arc through Middle-earth's northern wastelands, which is fine as window dressing for the grinding.
