The Crew 2
A cross-country MMO racer that lets you drive, boat, and fly across the USA, but struggles with a thin player base and clunky progression systems.
GamerScout Verdict
Great for casual co-op cruising with friends, rough around the edges for competitive or solo play.

About The Crew 2
I've spent enough time in The Crew 2 to know what it's trying to do: a sprawling motorsports sandbox where you switch between cars, boats, and planes without loading screens. That's genuinely cool. The map is massive, the vehicle variety is real, and hopping into co-op sessions with friends has its moments. But here's the catch: the online community is sparse, matchmaking can feel like screaming into the void, and the progression grind doesn't respect your time. Microtransactions are everywhere, and the handling feels floaty across all vehicle types. The hybrid offline mode helps if you're flying solo, but The Crew 2 was designed around that MMO buzz that never really materialized. If you want a relaxed cross-country cruise with a buddy or two, it works. If you're hunting competitive multiplayer or a tight sim, you'll want to look elsewhere. Gamepad is fully supported, which is nice for casual play, but don't expect wheel or pedal integration to feel premium.
