GamerScout Verdict
Paranoia mechanics are solid, but dying playerbase and ancient netcode make it a tough recommend unless you've mastered every other traitor-impostor shooter.

About SurvHive
SurvHive is a Thing-inspired asymmetric FPS where one team plays humans trying to identify and eliminate aliens who can disguise themselves as survivors. It's a solid premise for paranoia-driven gameplay, but the execution hasn't aged well. The playerbase is tiny, matchmaking can take forever, and the netcode shows its 2016 bones. If you can find a full server, the social deduction tension works. The concept of trusting no one while aliens sabotage from within has legs. But queue times, connection stability, and a lack of modern QoL features make it a hard sell in 2024. This is strictly for players who've exhausted Among Us variants and want their paranoia with shotguns.
