Rivais Em Batalha is a third-person action game where you pick an animal warrior and throw down in sci-fi arenas. Local multiplayer is the draw here: you and a friend can split-screen or hot-seat through what amounts to a straightforward brawler with weapon pickups and character variety. The audio design reportedly carries the load, some charm there. Problem is, the netcode doesn't exist for online play, so this only works if you're physically in the same room. Seven years post-release with zero Steam reviews tells you everything about its reach. Skip this unless local couch multiplayer is your only option and you've exhausted everything else. The mechanics work fine in isolation, but there's no depth to keep you grinding ranked or comparing frame data. Fun for 30 minutes with a friend, forgettable after.
