Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure
A 15-hour storybook JRPG that asks almost nothing of your tactical brain and rewards you with singing puppets, cozy warmth, and zero padding.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for RPG players who want a warm, low-stakes weekend story and will not miss deep builds or branching choices.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure
What this one wants from you is about fifteen hours and a willingness to stop optimizing. There is no build spreadsheet here, no punishing grid-combat puzzle box, no hour-40 payoff to chase. Cornet's whole gimmick is that she sings monsters into joining her, and her party is a squad of living puppets, which means recruitment does most of the work systems depth usually does elsewhere. The grid battles are functional and forgiving, tuned so that a newcomer can finish without ever reading a damage formula. That is a design choice, not an accident, and the 94 percent Steam score comes from people who understood the assignment. Where it disappoints me is exactly where you would expect. The musical numbers and fairy-tale worldbuilding charm hard on first pass, but the choices do not branch, the character arcs resolve in straight lines, and there is nothing to re-read. Still, I would rather have a short campaign that ends cleanly than another RPG padding itself to sixty hours. This remaster knows its length and respects it.
