About Nimbus
This is for people who chase leaderboard splits alone at midnight and treat a two-second improvement as a good evening. If you came looking for a party racer, walk away now, because Nimbus is solo only, has no split-screen, and there is nothing here for four people on one couch. What you actually do is slingshot a little pod through hand-built obstacle courses using gravity and boost pads rather than a throttle. Every course is a physics problem with one clean line through it, and finding that line means dozens of quick retries. Sessions are short by design, which suits it well. What works is the retry loop. Restarts are instant, the controls are simple enough to grasp in a minute, and Steam Leaderboards give the perfectionists a reason to keep grinding. What disappoints is scope. Controller support is partial, so gamepad players should expect some fiddling, and the total absence of multiplayer makes it a hard sell for my usual Saturday night crowd. The physics can also feel slippery until it clicks, and some players never get past that.
