Moon Corona
A deckbuilder where the deck is the least of your problems: survival, crafting, and a persistent dark-fantasy sandbox do the heavy lifting. Rough, but genuinely its own thing.
GamerScout Verdict
For deckbuilder veterans who want a persistent survival sandbox around the cards and can tolerate Early Access friction.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Moon Corona
If Slay the Spire is a gauntlet you run and reset, Moon Corona is a place you have to live in. Same card-combat DNA, completely different pressure: the world persists between fights, the temples you crack open stay cracked, and the choices you make about where to go and what to burn resources on carry forward. Card crafting is the real system here, not a bonus layer. Combinations reward players who read every effect twice and think about what a card does three turns from now, which is exactly my kind of homework. Deckbuilding RPG is the honest label, with the RPG half doing more work than the genre usually allows. Where it stumbles is presentation and pacing. It launched into Early Access in July 2026 out of a small studio, and it shows: the localization is uneven, the UI explains too little, and the mid-game sags into resource-gathering loops that feel like padding rather than tension. Very Positive from a couple hundred reviews is the right read. People who click with it click hard. If you want polish or a story with real character arcs, wait. If you want a strategy sandbox with teeth and a crafting system worth solving, it's already there.
