GamerScout Verdict
Amnesia-framed monster collector with potential, but zero launch data makes this a wait-and-see until reviews arrive.

About LumenTale: Memories of Trey - Lumen Edition
LumenTale is pitching itself as a memory-recovery adventure where you catch creatures called Animon and rebuild Trey's identity. Monster collector mechanics are solid genre scaffolding, and the premise of trauma-as-gameplay hook could work if the writing lands. The problem: there are no Steam reviews, no Metacritic score, and the developer's shipping date is May 2026. You're pre-buying on vibes and publisher (Team17 has credibility) alone. If the narrative payoff justifies the amnesia framing and the Animon breeding/battling systems have build depth worth exploring past hour 10, this could surprise. If it's padding, you'll know fast. Wait for launch reviews or early-access feedback before committing. Amnesia plots are easy to botch, and collector RPGs live or die on whether monster variety and team synergy reward experimentation. I'm watching this one.
