Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Lost Ark Apprentice Starter Pack (DLC)

I've spent enough hours in Lost Ark to know precisely where it wins and where it quietly picks your pocket. The combat is the headline act: a fast, skill-chaining ARPG system that sits closer to Path of Exile than to World of Warcraft, viewed from a crisp isometric camera that makes every boss fight feel like a choreographed light show. Pulling off a Sorceress AoE chain or landing a Gunlancer taunt at the exact right moment during a Legion Raid is genuinely satisfying in a way most MMOs stopped attempting years ago. The class roster, now spread across seven base classes and over twenty-five advanced specializations, offers real mechanical variety: the Deathblade's dual-wield momentum build plays nothing like the Paladin's hybrid support-tank role, and the Bard sitting in the back with a magical harp keeping the raid alive is its own kind of expertise. For players who love theorycrafting builds and learning boss patterns, the ceiling here is high. The world design backs up that combat energy. Zones funnel you through story beats efficiently, each one usually closing out in an instanced dungeon that ranges from ancient ruins to pirate coves, and the Stronghold player-housing system is genuinely one of the more in-depth takes on that feature I've seen in the genre. The main story clocks in at over thirty hours and the endgame piles on Guardian Raids, Chaos Dungeons, Abyss Dungeons, equalized-arena PvP, collectible hunts, and daily and weekly mission loops. If content volume were the only metric, Lost Ark would be impossible to argue against. But here is where the RPG specialist in me has to be honest with you. The narrative writing is functional at best and filler-quest padding at worst. The story will not reward re-reads the way a good CRPG does; it exists to move you between combat encounters, not to make you feel anything for the characters delivering it. That is a real loss in a world with this much visual ambition. The bigger structural problem, though, is the monetization. The cash shop sells progression items, and players without a generous spending habit will eventually hit an item-level wall that locks them out of current endgame content. Community gatekeeping around gear scores compounds this: showing up under-leveled to a hard raid is a social experience nobody enjoys. The "Mixed" Steam rating across more than 200,000 reviews is not a coincidence; it reflects a genuine split between players who love the combat loop and players who bounced off the pay-to-progress ceiling. Solo-mode raids have been added to soften the entry curve, but veterans and community voices are clear that those modes exist closer to the shallow end of the pool. If you come in expecting a satisfying solo ARPG with light MMO trappings, the early hours will impress you. If you want to push into the hardest content without spending real money, budget a large amount of time for daily and weekly alt-farming to generate gold organically. That is the realistic picture in 2025. The combat is among the best the genre has produced. Everything built around it asks for patience, thick skin in group content, and a firm personal limit on the cash shop.
