Longevity: Path of the Immortal

This is for players who like their cultivation fantasy with actual bookkeeping: sect politics, karma that shifts which factions will talk to you, and the slow climb from disgraced disciple to something that scares heaven. Walk away if you want a tight 30-hour story, because this is an MMO and it plays like one. The framing works better than it should. Getting expelled from your sect on a fabricated charge gives the early hours real momentum, and the karma system does more than color a meter. Choices reroute faction access and shuffle which ancient legacies open to you, which makes a second character genuinely different rather than cosmetically so. Combat against the Demonic Path has enough technique variety to reward experimentation past the opening realms. What drags is the connective tissue: fetch loops and repeatable cultivation grinds padding the gaps between story beats, standard free-to-play scaffolding doing what it always does. Early reception skews positive on a small sample, and it earns that, but only if you tolerate the busywork between the good parts.
