LISA: Complete Edition
Three slices of Olathe in one box, and the bonus content actually rewrites the ending you thought you understood. Newcomers win big, existing owners gain very little.
GamerScout Verdict
The best entry point for anyone new to LISA, and near-pointless if you already own The Painful and Joyful.
Compare Prices(2 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About LISA: Complete Edition
Earthbound is the comparison everyone reaches for with LISA, and I get it, right up until the game asks you to cut off a party member's arm. The Complete Edition collects the whole Olathe run: LISA: The First, the main course in The Painful, and the Joyful expansion that hands you the other side of that story. None of it is shelf-filler. Joyful in particular reframes how The Painful's ending lands. The Painful is a turn-based RPG with a huge roster of recruitable oddballs, most of them situationally useless, plus mutilation and permadeath choices the save file never forgives. If you have never played it, start here. If The Painful and Joyful are already in your library, you are effectively buying The First, a short dreamlike prologue that is more mood than mechanics. Lovely, but not a second purchase on its own.
