Kingdom Loop
Three good systems bolted together that stop talking to each other around hour six. The deck is the reason to play, and it's not enough on its own.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth it for deckbuilder fans who want a short systems puzzle, not for anyone hunting RPG storytelling.
Compare Prices(3 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Kingdom Loop
The card synergies are genuinely clever. Building a deck that chains undead-clearing combos through a hero party while your kingdom economy feeds new cards into the pool is the kind of systems loop I'll happily lose an evening to, and the turn-based tactics layer has real decisions in it. The problem is that the three pillars (deckbuilding, kingdom management, tactics) never fully interlock. Kingdom management ends up as a resource faucet rather than a set of meaningful choices, and once you find a synergy that works, the campaign stops asking you new questions. It's short, which is mercy rather than flaw here. There's no character writing to speak of and no arcs to chew on, so if you came for RPG in the story sense, look elsewhere. What's here is a compact systems puzzle with a decent first solve and thin replay value after it. The mixed reception tracks with my read: the people who bounced off it aren't wrong, and neither are the ones who enjoyed the ride. Play it at your own pace, expect a weekend, and don't wait for a second act that never arrives.
