GamerScout Verdict
Perfect for a laid-back couch session, loose physics, silly challenges, and genuine split-screen fun that holds up.

About Joe Danger
Joe Danger is exactly the kind of mid-2010s indie gem that feels criminally underrated now. You're racing a daredevil through gauntlet courses, stringing together trick combos to hit multipliers and beat level targets. The physics are loose and forgiving, no sim pretense here, which makes it perfect for couch co-op chaos. Split-screen works great on pad, and the level editor means players keep finding fresh content years later. The campaign is bite-sized enough for a casual evening but sticky enough to pull you back for "just one more run." Jumping over shark pools and dodging mousetraps sounds dumb until you're cackling at a wipeout with three mates watching. It won't teach you racing lines, but it absolutely will teach you how to have fun on a controller.
