Into the Dark: Ultimate Trash Edition
A one-dev smash-everything dungeon crawler where physics does the heavy lifting and polish is nowhere to be found. Charming if you can forgive the jank.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth it as a cheap physics-destruction toy for short sessions, not as an RPG with any real progression depth.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Into the Dark: Ultimate Trash Edition
Everything in this dungeon breaks. Walls, barrels, furniture, the enemies themselves, all of it collapses into physics debris and loot when you swing hard enough, and that single design choice rewires how you play. You stop looking for doors and start making them. You stop clearing rooms tactically and start bowling through them. The loot grind is thin by design, the hack-and-slash combat has maybe two ideas in it, and there is no story worth mentioning, but the destruction loop hits a very specific itch that bigger crawlers sand off for the sake of level integrity. The honesty is in the title. This is rough: enemy variety runs dry fast, the physics occasionally launches your loot somewhere unrecoverable, and the character progression will not hold anyone past a few hours. What saves it is the included level editor, which turns the whole thing into a sandbox for building your own breakable spaces. Play it in twenty-minute bursts, treat it as a physics toy with an RPG hat on, and it works. Go in expecting build depth or a campaign and you will bounce off by the second dungeon.
