Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition
The Complete Edition bundles The Frozen Wilds, which is the best-written stretch of the whole game. If you want Horizon at all, want this version.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth the upgrade over standard purely for The Frozen Wilds; treat the cosmetic packs as noise.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition
The Frozen Wilds is the reason this bundle exists, and it happens to be better than most of the base game. The expansion drops Aloy into Banuk territory, a frozen region built around a mountain the local shamans treat as a living threat, and the writing there has a focus the main campaign loses somewhere around its third fetch quest. New machines (the Scorcher and the Frostclaw in particular) actually change how you fight rather than just soaking more arrows, and the added skill trees plus heavy weapon overrides give late-game builds somewhere to go past hour 40. So: this is the base game, The Frozen Wilds, and the cosmetic extras (outfits, weapon packs, the Nora carja gear). The cosmetics are shelf-filler, honestly. You will equip one and forget the rest. But the expansion is a genuine 10-15 hour campaign with its own arc, and buying it separately later costs more hassle than value. Anyone who only wants to see whether the robot-dinosaur hunting clicks could start standard, though Guerrilla's best worldbuilding is sitting in the part you skipped. Play the expansion mid-game, not after the credits.
