Harvest Moon: One World
A Harvest Moon entry that swaps cozy farming for globe-trotting fetch quests, with mixed results and a premise that sounds better than it plays.
GamerScout Verdict
For series completionists only; newcomers should try Stardew Valley or Story of Seasons instead.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Harvest Moon: One World
I went in expecting relaxing farm life with a global twist. Instead, Harvest Moon: One World is a scattered adventure game that splits its focus between crop management and tedious world-hopping to find the missing Harvest Goddess. The core loop feels disjointed: you manage a farm in each region (beach, desert, volcano), marry a bachelor or bachelorette, raise livestock like camels and reindeer, but the connecting tissue is a bunch of fetch quests that pad playtime without deepening the narrative. The writing doesn't have much personality, and character arcs flatten fast once you've seen their romance scene. If you're after the meditative rhythm of classic Harvest Moon games, this isn't it. If you want a proper adventure RPG, it's too light on story and character depth. The mixed Steam reviews tell the story: it's neither farming game nor adventure game, but a half-measure at both. You'll find more rewarding farm sims elsewhere, and better narratives in actual RPGs.
